About Dyeing Grace

Dyeing Amazing Grace ( DAGI) officially started in 2006. It is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to reach the needs of others. The name was derived through life experiences.

‘Dyeing’ was derived from the founder mom’s nickname. As a child growing up, Jeanelle remembers the kids in the community calling her mom ‘Dyeing’. Her Mom,  officially known as Joycelyn was a strong pillar in the community who always provided hot meals for the children in the community to enjoy.  She was also known for her famous sweet potato pudding. Miss Joycelyn had nine (9) children but always made the time to take care of other kids in the community. She single-handedly raised her children and paved the way so that they can have a good example to follow.

Our mission

To create an awareness of the needs of women, children, and the aging population by empowering them and the community to change their way of thinking towards poverty and vulnerabilities through education and provisions.

Our vision

DAGI’s objective is to reach women, children, and the elderly of all races, background and culture. Thereby, changing the lives of the needy and less privileged women, children, and the elderly in society.
Most importantly, we are here to listen, share, provide and work alongside families and communities to make a difference in their lives.

Our story

Many children are the victims of society and they are neglected, helpless and preyed upon by the wicked hearted.  DAGI creates an environment for improvement and development for the less fortunate and helpless in society.

Beautiful things happen when we go far for the vulnerable and ignore. we take
action even if it was not popular.
Our hope is in Jesus, we show love. We believe that no child is lost whereas no situation is hopeless.
We partner with Women, Children, Elderly families, and communities to reach their full potential by tackling the cause of poverty and injustice.

God has use Dyeing Amazing Grace Organization to bless my life from early age. it seems like all were lost but this Organization help me in a big way, and I say thank you. It was back in 2012 when most of my top teeth in my mouth were going bad. The President Miss Jeanelle noticed it, when I had no other help and she step in and help me solve my dental problem. Today I can stand and say how thankful I am for the help that Miss Jeanelle gave me through Dyeing Amazing Grace. Today, I have a beautiful smile on my face.

I am a high school student who is very happy for Dyeing Amazing Gracing Organizing support to my education. 2020 school year had been very difficult for me. I did not have a computer to attend my online class. This Organization President reach out to me to see how I was doing. After our conversation, I received a new computer to help with my virtual classes. My computer makes school assignment easier and doable. I want to become a programmer to build educational apps to help make children learning easier.
